Mumpers meets on the first and third Sunday of every month (with a summer break),
at the Meadows Inn, Chequers Road, Derby, DE21 6EP within a minute of the Pentagon Island on
the A52. (Click here for directions)
Ceilidhs run from 8:00pm to 10:30pm. Bar is available with Ale on draft, pool table in back room, free parking at venue.
We try to alternate between "Mumpers own Ceilidhs" when anyone and everyone can join in with our resident band, and "Mumpers guest Ceilidhs" where booked bands have the chance to run the night on their own terms.
If you want to join in on a residents night you're welcome to have a go
- a bit like an open mike session - but you don't even have to play
into a mike. We don't run workshops at the moment (although volunteers to do this would be welcomed) so if you're not yet confident about playing in front of an audience then come along on a residents night and busk along in the background
All are welcome - no matter how many left feet you have or what age you are.
You
don't have to dance and no partner is necessary, you can just come and enjoy the atmosphere if you
want.
And we welcome anyone with the ability to play music, sing, call,
or share any other talent.

normally £3.00 per adult (first ceilidh free), children free!
