Welcome to Mumpers Ceilidh Club |
Mumpers meets on the first and third Sunday of every month (with a summer break),
at the Meadows Inn, Chequers Road, Derby, within a minute of the Pentagon Island on
the A52.
Ceilidhs start at 8pm: on the first Sunday monthly we have a Mumpers own Ceilidh, and on the third Sunday a Mumpers guest Ceilidh (we may not always
stick to this alternation precisely). We also hold
Musicians' Workshops starting at 7:15 before some Ceilidhs - see the calendar for details.
All are welcome - no matter how many left feet you have or what age you are. You
don't have to dance: you can just come and enjoy the atmosphere if you
want. And we welcome anyone with the ability to play music, sing, call,
or share any other talent.
